I think the Airfoil install prompts you to install Soundflower if you want that full audio hijack thing.

Not sure if it helps if you can't access any audio output though. :(

^^Ableton says that there is no audio engine at all, and when I go to preferences it shows me no options for my driver type.

Alright so a couple weeks ago my macbook got snowed on and since then the logic board has all but completely died. I can't play videos, or any sort of sound UNLESS it's being transmitted wirelessly to my Airport Express device through airtunes or a program I have called Airfoil.

My version of ableton (7.0.14) keeps freezing whenever I use my drumpad (korg nanopad).

Well that worked, I was right to suspect that I missed the obvious, but I guess that's why god gave us the internet

The samples are all clips that start with the sound, it's just a matter of playing the entire sound without holding down the pad that it's assigned to for however long the clip lasts. The goal is to play it like a drumset only on a pad.

I'm using a korg nano pad with a copy of ableton 7.

I just downloaded some 909 samples as wav files but when I try to play them using the drum rack each sample only plays while I'm holding down the button on the pad. I can't figure out how to play each full sample by just tapping the button rather ...
