Re: Issues With Amplitube 3 in Live 10?
Thanks, that helps. Extra CPU usage is what I was worried about with Amplitube 4.

Re: Issues With Amplitube 3 in Live 10?
I mentioned it in the context of a broader question I was having about Live 10's performance. All they really said was "if you think that a newer version of Amplitube is available I always recommend keeping Live and Plug-in up to date".

Issues With Amplitube 3 in Live 10?
I recently upgraded to Live 10 Standard. Often but not always, if I open Live 10 and then open a Live Set that includes the Amplitube 3 plug-in, I get an error message that tells me "some plug-ins could not be loaded and are disabled - VST 'Amplitube 3': the VST plug-in could not be opened"...

Re: CPU usage in Live 10
Thanks. I updated MixControl. CPU usage is much more reasonable now. Based on one run-through, I still get spikes and glitches as the piece develops and more tracks and devices are used, but it does not seem worse than Live 9. Getting rid of these problems is still going to take more than an upgrade...

Re: CPU usage in Live 10
Did you mean M4L 8? There is no Max For Live 9 yet AFAIK. No, I was using Max for Live with Live 9: https://help.ableton.com/hc/en-us/articles/209070309-Installing-Max-for-Live-with-Live-9 I don't get any glitches in Live 10 before 90% of the CPU load meter. 65% is coasting along. I was at 65% befo...

Re: CPU usage in Live 10
Wow, I wish I read this thread first. I do a lot of work with real-time live signal processing in Max for Live. I was experiencing some occasional glitches in M4L 9. Based on an article from The Verge, I thought that Live 10 might run more smoothly, with less CPU usage, since Max is integrated into ...

Lag Between Audio Tracks (the real thread)
Sorry for the double-post. I deleted my OP on another thread with the same title. I'm trying to adapt a guitar/M4L piece for live performance (described here: http://forum.ableton.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=177416 ). I'm able to route my input signal through multiple audio tracks now and process it...

Re: Single Audio Input to Multiple Channels?(Arming Two Tracks?)
I'm on a Mac. Also, I don't see that option under "Preferences"?

Re: Single Audio Input to Multiple Channels?(Arming Two Tracks?)
OK, I see that I can select multiple tracks by holding down "shift". Is there any way to select multiple tracks that are not adjacent to each other?
Also, is there a way I could map this to an external MIDI device?

Single Audio Input to Multiple Channels?(Arming Two Tracks?)
I created a recorded piece where I recorded the whole piece on guitar, then chopped up the recording into six different tracks so that I could apply different signal processing on different tracks at different points in the piece. At some parts, I also have two copies of the same audio recording on ...

Patches only working sometimes?
Hello I've been building a fairly elaborate set in M4L, using a great deal of signal processing of audio files, much of which I programmed with Max. Now one audio effect patch that I programmed, that uses FFT-based signal processing, only seems to work some of the time. It's hard to explain... For e...

Re: UI for M4L Devices?
Thanks very much. Somehow, I hadn't realized that there are native Live objects available in Max 5.

Re: UI for M4L Devices?
So is there a way to do this too?: (Ideally, I'd also like to be able to control my sliders with my MIDI foot controller, which I can do with "NoiseFilter".) Like, I imagine ctlin would probably work (or would it?). It would be nice, however, to be able to set up these UI sliders on my Max...
