it seems the only fix for this issue, is to first loop a small segment of audio, example: 1 bar. it will loop in logic and ableton properly. after this, all audio will loop properly regardless of length. the problem is trying to loop a long period of audio for the first time within your project, it ...

I've just tried installing old versions of ableton live demo's from the website.. tried versions 6 & 7 which both said their rewire engines were being installed during the first opening (as is the norm)

still no luck with anything appearing in logic 7..
