Buzby - I am having this exact same problem. I installed a Digidesign driver (without ProTools installed) so that I could use my Mbox soundcard on my Mac (OSX 10.7.4), and the same thing happened. Wow, from 2004?!!? I'm having the same problem w/ Reason 4.0 rewired through an External Instrument patch. Kind of frustrating since choosing the right sounds is pretty integral to the production process. Anyone w/ any tips?
