Re: Upgrade or not

Besides what the people above me are saying. It also depends on how are you using Live. For example, i mainly record my own synths with Ableton and have the occasional softsynth in there. So i just need some OK disk speed that can track recording 24 channels of audio. Your machine specs depends on t...

Re: how to fix the sound when you have too many compressors?

First tip would be to not really use the compressors when you are still writing your song. Don't use compressors as an instrument but as a mix tool.

Re: GUI LAG FIXED!! ---> Downgrade to 10.0.1 from 10.0.3b6

980 ti, yes Live uses openGL and they are changing to Metal2 as this is necessary because Apple will remove support for openGL. The issue is introduced in 10.0.2, every version after 10.0.2 has the stutter issues. 10.0.1 does not have this issue. I cannot find any old beta’s so I can’t check where ...

Re: Massive presets sounds weird / no sound since 10.0.2

Yeah, same issue here plugins loads, then immediately parameters changes and the preset is gone. MacOS 10.13.5 and Live 1.0.0.2. Tested this on the current beta and that looks te resolve the issue.

I played around with Kore and it is a major dissapointment. It basically is a plug-in host (VST/AU/RTAS) and allows you to create patches (something like Reason's combinator or the channelstrip in Logic) and catogorize these in a database. The hardware part is nothing more then a controller for the ...

I have gigs the end of Feb, then I have to play a gig for Apple at the beginning of March...so I dont have a lot of time to wait for updates. If they update prior to that then great. Also I am concerned that none of my plugins will work unless they too are updated, that is a major problem. I am thi...

Live just works fine with dual processors and/or dual core processors. It just does not take all of the advantage it could of them. Lots of the use of processors is being done by OSX itselfs. Live works fine on my dual 2Ghz G5, but it could run better if they optimized it for dual core or dual proce...
