I run a intel mac.
I wanted a multi-sampler
I went with SAMPLER.
I regret it because - it wont import my EXS patches because they all map a sample to the first note, C-2 - which produces a completely blank patch in SAMPLER, not an arsed up somehow messed up patch, but a completely blank patch ...

it would be fantastic if we could select chains with midi keys as well as rotary encoders. In fact maybe if we had a dropdown to choose between types of controller this would be better

The reason is becuase Sampler has no keyswitch function like Kontakt for switching between different group ...

I havent got a uc33. all i can suugest is if youve heard of others using it then maybe find out what theyre doing or if they have the same problem.

otherwise a translator will solve the problem and open other doors to possibility

you dont say what platform you use
best to put this as your signature

if youre on a mac get midipipe and convert the message.
on pc you need something like bomes midi translator to do this

Im now using live 5.2.2 on mac osx 10.43 in the US2400 in sel aux 3 DP mode and I have no more problems. :)

I have the us2400 DESELCTED for all track and remote options except the mackie and 2 mackie xts to ports 1,2 and 3 respectivley

th remote operates as it should now...

read the us 2400 manual for whatever setup you are using..this will tell you what knobs may be mapped to.

I use DP and aux one for sends
shift play for play from current position etc etc.. its easy if you just try the DP ( or logic) options and see what they do

I seem to have us2400 working percfectly with the 5.2.2 update

settings :
SEL and Aux 3 (DP preset)
Active devices : NO selection of track or remote or sync for us2400 in input and output - try it it stll controll without this ;)

and below in remote control surfaces for input output

well 5.2.2 is out and available in updates now and this has stopped any crash issues with the US2400 for me on a MAc running 10.4.3
