Hi all, There was a fix in 9.0.5 for launchpad artefacts and we also improved startup times for the 9.0.5. Please have a look and see if this fix will adress the issues reported here . Best, Mads Still same on latest beta. Made sure to remove all preferences before launching. This is on a fresh ins...

Re: Live 9 project won't load

I am not sure if this is related at all. But, I had a set I had worked many hours on stop loading. It popped up some error. Turns out it was a Max Video Device Vizzable (I had removed a video clip from the hard drive that Vizzable used and this caused it to freak out and crash) My solution was to un...

Re: .mp4 to .mov video converter that keeps Live happy? (PC)

Hi, I've been using x media recode for many years, its easy to control and I use it for video and audio, it's well rounded for everything you want to decode. Very stable and for Win 7 32 and 64 bit. German site: http://www.chip.de/downloads/XMedia-Recode_30516491.html Thank you so much for this pos...

Re: 64-bit Live, Windows 7 and video, anyone?

I've completely reinstalled Windows (replacing my hard drive with an SSD), and reinstalled Live, plugins, etc. When I had posted this last night, I stumbled upon this article on QuickTime in Windows 7 , which may or may not be outdated. I un-installed QuickTime and replaced it with this new one. I ...

Re: Is there a Global FX bypass option anywhere?

Not to my knowledge. When I want to set up a bypass all I hit ctr m and map all bypass buttons to a single button on my launchpad. If bypassing multiple plugs on a channel I select to first plug, hold shift select the last plug and use the zero key in live 9. You could also select all plugs in a cha...

Re: Launchpad not recognized & SLOW load times STILL beta 9.04b1

Case ableton945260 Issue of Launchpad not recognized on startup still exists in 9.0.4. As per Ableton's Marco's request I uninstalled Launchpad driver. Restarted computer. Installed latest driver. Did the reset of live as requested with no love. Still have to unplug and replug the LP for it to come ...

Re: Ableton 9.0.2 Slow Startup

After reading this thread I tried the same things to see if any improvement could be made without luck. Win 7 64 bit with live 9.02 and Beta 9.04b1. Just saw new beta b2 is out so will try that out as well. Live 8 load time for set is 12 seconds till audio is playing back. Live 9 is about 1 minute t...

Re: Did the Survey. Maybe you should have asked better questions

Did the survey. Hope they read the bit where get to type your thoughts! I bought live 9 but it is slow compared to 8 for what I do. I am going back to 8 which is a bummer as now I will have to dump all the clips in my set to wav files and reconstruct my set in 8. My main gripes; Load times are 4 tim...

Launchpad not recognized & SLOW load times STILL beta 9.04b1

Dear Ableton, I have just loaded beta 9.0.4b1. Same issues exist. I reported my issue upon release: Launchpad not recognized on start up of live 9.all. This is still not fixed despite your reply via email that it is top priority. Also. Launch time for my set in live 8 is 12 seconds. Launch time in l...

Re: Happy with Live 9?

This is kind of my whole point: Ableton has had THREE YEARS to get it right . They could have done a public beta or something and squashed a lot of these bugs, but they chose not to and to focus most of their resources on Push development. Live 8 was initially hell to work with, so I was using Live...
