Re: Unacceptably slow freezing time on a very fast PC
Yeah its a tad slower in processing audio with 12. Hopefully it gets addressed in the next release, or beta.

Re: Ableton arrangement window is a MESS
Yeah i agree with you about the midi warp markers. Those were introduced in 9 i believe, and they always slowed down my workflow. Now with 12, they are pretty much obsolete, because all the warping is done with the new midi generators.

Re: Expensive update
You may be right on that one. Think it was cheaper though than the 12 upgrade

Re: Expensive update
I think this Live upgrade is the most extensive yet. From 11 standard to 12 standard was a littler over 130 usd for myself- with the pre order discount. Just the new midi transform tools is a major addition, then the new browser? Yeah def worth it imo, and iam as frugal as they come. When 11 added c...

Re: Control of macro variations
Yeah there is no way right now to automate or map anything to the macro variation. Think they are geared more towards a live performance. Appreciate your input though.

Re: Control of macro variations
Yeah the only work around i have found is to just resample the variations. Oh well it works i guess. I do think some kind of way to map to a macro would be ideal too.

Re: correct paths for plugins
Yeah just now using Izotope Trash , and its VST3 only. Thing that kinda annoys me is in the plugins sidebar, they now show vst2 and vst3. So some extra clicks and folder clutter in the browser now. Sure i can just put the vst3 in collections, which i already have.

Re: Live 11.3.3 visual lag & high cpu usage
Yeah 11 doesnt run the best, in my opinion-still. Odd that 12 runs more smoother, and has no CPU overload warnings. 10 had o issues as well.

Re: Adjusting note-velocity via keyboard-shortcut
Yeah i totally agree. Not sure why they got rid of this very useful and quick shortcut.
But yeah, it indeed was possible in previous versions.

Re: Adjusting note-velocity via keyboard-shortcut
Looking for something similar. Swear this was capable in previous versions, before 10 and onward.
I remember using Alt key on windows then the draw pen would vanish, and you were free to use the arrow up dn keys to adjust velocity.

Re: Major Problems With Live 11
I have to say that I have had a fairly horrific time changing over to 11. I pre-ordered and have been wrestling with it since the release, I had issues with the plugin scans/library and still am today. Particularly with AU plugins, which it no longer seems to read at all when I boot a session it di...

Re: Ableton! The GUI lags are still NOT SOLVED! How long are we supposed to wait for the fix?
Yeah seems that when Live puts out a new version, like from 9 to 10. you can see the extra ram being used. Probably has to do with the collections or indexing, idk. But for sure have also had graphics issues, with my old intel GPU. Was a little smoother in 9, but 10 its just clunky the word i would ...
