i read somewhere that if one has collections of multisampled instruments
in (say) Kontakt format,
they can be imported into Sampler for easy access..
i have tried importing but can't get anywhere.
can anyone enlighten please?

Re: push aftertouch
push will always output aftertouch. It is up to your soft/hard synth to respond to it. So in your softsynth wherever you setup modulation, be it either a modmatrix, midi mapping, whatever, you have to set aftertouch to do something in that synth. The specifics of how depend on which synth your usin...

Re: push aftertouch
do you mean in a hardware synth? if so, how do we route Push to modulate aftertouch? Push is like a midi keyboard with aftertouch, so if you set the aftertouch to control cutoff in your hardware synth, Push will modulate the parameter of your synth. So you don't have to route nothing on Push. ok, t...

Re: Keyboard Shortcut for 'snapping' loop braces?
hi, ok, tried that out.. thanks, you are right, selecting a section of the clip, and cmd + l will mark that selection with loop braces. but is there a way to only snap to a single new loop marker only, as in, when a loop selection is existing, and i want to snap to a new loop beginning marker only, ...

Re: volume fader keeps moving
yeah, before i retired the TF i used to remedy it temporarily by
moving the pot/slider around (to 'exercise' it)..
maybe it was some sort of material build up in the pot/slider..
in your case it may be a bad one that needs looking at if it's under warranty?

Re: volume fader keeps moving
or, like me, i had a dodgy hardware controller (trigger finger) that was emitting cc data through a pot uncontrollably?
i had random levels in live moving until i retired the controller..

Keyboard Shortcut for 'snapping' loop braces?
hi, is there a way from within the clip view window, with the mouse, to pinpoint a particular spot in the clip and shortcut 'snap' either rt. or lft. loop brace, rather than to nudge or drag the markers? i often have the clip view window smaller than the clip length and the loop brace exceeds the vi...

mark egloff apc40 step sequencer in live9
this is probably old news, but is mark egloff's APC40 step seq suitable for LIVE 9?
and if so, does it muck up PUSH?
i've just d'loaded it from the maxforlive.com site, but yet to try it until we know it's not buggy..
thanks for the help..

Re: Problem to hot swap samples in drumrack
You should press the 'In' button when in drumrack. This should take you to each pad when you hit them. See the names change? Now if you press Browse it should let you hotswap sounds. Browse is context sensitive, so it acts on whatever you have currently selected. I'm not at my Push right now so I c...
