PS: JBridge is a good memory solution for 32bit DAWs like Ableton and allow to overcome the 3.5GB barrier.

Hey OP. Try this ASAP. Right click on Ableton shortcut or .exe and make sure you RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR. Many times that is the issue with authorization and Windows Vista+ systems.
