So, how do you use the FX Sends if you utilize all 4 channels on the 4d with 4 decks in Ableton?

If I wanted a FX Return of "reverb" let's say on Send A...

So I create a "Return A", which goes to "FX A", which has a reverb rack on it... then I put all 4 channels "Send A" 100%... how would I hear ...

I have 3 decks in Ableton. A B C (channel 1/2, 3/4, 5/6)

I want to record my mix into ableton from the Xone:4d (not just midi automation but the whole sound from the mixer. That way I can get the Filter sounds in).

How would I do this?

KRKs are not good monitors and in regard to USB ports just use a hub.

KRK's are great monitors in that price range in terms of best bang for buck. What else would you purchase for $500-600?

USB Hubs add latency and require another outlet. This isn't always the best thing when you're out on a gig ...

Secondly, if I buy an APC40 it comes with Ableton 7 right? Then to upgrade it's $100 according to the site... so why wouldn't I just buy an APC40 to get two things ...

Well, what I "need" is potentially an easier interface to interact with ableton than my keyboard.

I didn't say DJing as it seems to be a "taboo" way to reference how to "DJ in Ableton" it's truly more "mixing" than DJing.. but whatever you get the point.
