Re: 5 ways to make Ableton Live 9 the best DAW ever!
1 - 1000x agree with the "too many lines" - a.k.a JAIL feeling :) - in Arrangement View. I would add to that the same lack of visual comfort for Midi clips when doing some deep editings in a busy clip. One way to soften this Jail-feeling would be to have the downbeats, or depending on the zoom level...

Re: 8.1.3 Crashes After Quitting
Didn't try v8.1.3 yet but a lot of crashes I had some times ago up to v8.1.1 was heavy related to the use of some 3rd party plug-ins... I'm on an early 2008 macpro with Leopard 10.5.6 and in MY case, unfortunately, IK Multimedia amps, DUY valve/tape, Waves maserati... were "good" bad canditates for ...

Re: "Old" pluggo plug-ins incompatible with Live 8.1
Hello, Pluggos should work in the normal Live version but in order to make them work in Max for Live, they need to be recoded. Pluggo is discontinued. Best, Christian Hi, Could you please explain what is exactly a "normal" Live version ? I own Live 8 Suite and am still on v8.0.9, just about to upda...

Re: changing octaves in drum racks
Hi, I have the same question but for an other reason, I would like to fit within a single Drum Rack instance several drum kits, say from the Drum Machines collection, across the whole midi notes range so I could play different kits just by moving between octaves (and yes, I am aware that it is sort ...

Re: Alt-dragging clips up/down to change their volume
Hi, Just a note about this wish: ALT is already used, at least in Arranger, as every other modifier. I originally wanted to answer to this: On a side note, I would love to see a quick key to hide the red automation lines in the arrange view. Kinda annoying to always have to hide individual track au...

feature already suggested long time ago but, yeah, +1 (again&again&...) and 6 selector buttons would definitely be the sweet spot

i would like this feature too. but i think it might have a few problems. follow actions work as "groups" that are vertically touching. i use alot of scenes to make one "section" of music. extra scenes for dummy tracks and fills and variations. my "play next scene" would fuck everything up and play ...

Yeah, there are always bookmarks to help things a little but definitely more fixed folders in the browser would be pretty cool for instant browsing between multiple (temporary) directory paths. Or having these extra folders as "custom" directory paths which could be remembered on a per Live set basi...

Hi, i've a lot of bugs in Live 7 since i've installed the last live 8 beta, so, yesterday i've re-installed Live 7.0.14, 'cause many crashs. After installation an delete prefs files, certains vst-i of native instruments are impossible to read by Live 7. the unique solution was to drag outside the v...
