it works! just as simple as setting up the midi track to route it to the GR4 VST. Also tested GR3 VST, GR3 AU MFX and GR4 AU MFX. All working. I have the FCB1010 with original chip, I have reprogrammed it via sysex dumps, not for this particular case, and I am guessing FCB1010 would work with ...

There are a lot of people waiting for a fix of this issue, seems like the CC midi signals are not going through to GR4 plugin.

I am using this setup too and it's super easy to get it working. However, I generated several instances of the GR plugin and my cpu usage started to get unmanageable. Right now I am trying to find the way, in GR4, to pass the midi control to the GR4 plugin and change presets there, having only 1 ...

now it's 2011, and I am asking the same question, Does Live pass midi down to VST effects in audio tracks?

I am having a hell of a time putting together live 8 + guitar rig 3. Preset selection would be easier with the midi control signal routed from live to GR.
