Re: Mono Output when using MX-1 as audio interface
External Mode. All my I/Os are correct, it appears that this is simply the way it behaves. Roland has some work to do me thinks. I'm using External Instruments, there is no internal sounds coming from Ableton, it's simply processing the audio coming from the mixer. The level meters on the individual...

Mono Output when using MX-1 as audio interface
I'm setting up for a show this weekend, and am using the MX-1 as my audio interface into Ableton 10 Beta. I've noticed just now that the outputs at the mains in Ableton are in mono. I'm not sure why this is. I've checked all audio ins and outs, all the settings are correct. I'm not even seeing the l...

Re: Making control devices...
Trouble is, when i use the "include in presentation" option on the control dials, the "patch cords" STILL show up in Ableton. I've tried this already. I've tried the Hide on Lock option also. Nothing i do works. Hence my comment above; have you set the patch to "Open in pre...

Re: TouchAble - complete controller for Ableton Live & IPAD
I'm gonna add my vote to the Custom Controllers idea =o] This would invaluable to those of us who still actually use hardware synths =o]

Making control devices...
I've been trying to make a simple control device for use with my JX-3P. When i save the device in M4L, the patch connection lines continue to show when viewed in Ableton. How do i get rid of these? Here's an image of what i'm talking about. http://a3.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/205791_10150...

Connectify FTW! That totally solved my ad-hoc issue! Thanks for that =o] Too bad i can't use it on my desktop though, that's running XP, not 7.

I checked that out, from what I could tell, it's just an input.

Controlling hardware synth parameters with Ableton
I'm sure this has been asked 1000x, but i cannot find any info on this. I'm trying to figure out how to control external synth parameters from Ableton. The reasoning for this is i want these controllers to show up in touchAble. I don't want to involve any other MIDI controller except for the iPad. I...

Re: TouchAble - complete controller for Ableton Live & IPAD
I'm on the verge of buying this app, however, do i need any of the OSC apps to use this? Another concern i had was usage of wi-fi networks while playing live. How is this dealt with?
