Had the same problem with my Motu Ultralite...I sent them an email and they sent me a replacement knob for free.

The box itself was is fine shape and it was packed well inside. NOt sure if it was from manufac...

Roland SPD-30 and Roland KD-7

I am having trouble connecting my kd-7 to my spd-30. The spd-30 is working just fine as expected. The kd-7 I just connected and can't seem to confirm it works. it is connected from the output jack on the kd-7 to the external trigger input 1/kick on the SPD-30. When i hit the spd-30 pads, the corresp...

Re: VJing - Ableton Live + Controller + WHICH VJ SOFTWARE???

everyone has their own opinion. I know I dont want to be in a position where I rely on a computer 100%, so I have an option to switch over to the CG8. I also know I can do more on the CG8 onboard with the pad, buttons, and knobs that I could ever do with just a computer. Everything is right there on...

Re: What does your DJ setup consist of? (Plug-ins)

I only use plug-ins at home. set up: simple 4 tracks, 3 loops, and 1 fx. sends are set for filters and delays. volumes and eq8 on each track. you could get a VCM 600 and add a little spice...great maps and kill switch out of the box. at the end of the day, people just want to dance. too much tweakin...

Re: Studio Dust Covers (APC40, etc)

I have covers for all my gear made by lecover.com, very good quality and good prices. I think my APC one was around $18? He does custom orders too, so you can get a cover for anything you want if you give him the dimensions. Ignore the tacky and dated website, this guy does a GREAT job. +1 I have a...

Re: Any orchestral drum rack/impulse other than Magnificent?

i think battery is your best bet since you already have it.

If you are looking for more, maybe DRUM programs like BFD or fxpansion? Maybe some sample cds? I dont have sessions drums, but maybe theres more there...just toss that into drum racks.
