Re: THE NEW BIG USER REQUESTS TOPIC FOR LIVE9!!!!

I see.. so you're talking about 'sliced grooves'.. in which the 'snare' is already "mixed in" the track.. in this case.. if a certain 'slice' contains a 'snare' on it's own it can be fxed.. in any case it's a limitation of the plugin rather than Live... but you're right.... +1 that it wou...

Re: Katy Perry Mixer - "Ableton sounded terrible" (SoundonSound)

Well let me be fair with you guys I used Reaon (years), Protools (about a year), Cubase (years) and eventually tried Ableton. I NEVER went back....Is it me or is Ableton just the damn best? Ok I don't know Nuendo, I must be honest, but just had the same discussion with a producer-friend of mine from...

Re: THE NEW BIG USER REQUESTS TOPIC FOR LIVE9!!!!

3dot.... I know what you mean. What you said is possible with those machines (like superior drummer) that actually have an output per sample. However loading a groove in some machines (like Stylus in multi-mode) do not have an output per sample, so yes, in that case I would like automation per note ...

Superior Drummer 2, no automation?

Hi all,

I finally got my hands on superior drummer.
Installed it and everything seems to work fine in Ableton.

However, is it me or can't one automate the parameters in SD 2?
I click configure in Ableton 8 but nothing happens.

Anyone experience with this?

Re: THE NEW BIG USER REQUESTS TOPIC FOR LIVE9!!!!

the difference is groovemachines....
Cannot throw a groovemachine in a chain and then automate only for example the snare....whilst still playing the other notes un-automated.

Hold a Bachelor's and Master's in Neuro Psychology and currently in the PhD program.

Ableton is a life saver in between all the stress of publishing and academic competition....I envy those that can make a living out of music ;)

Re: freeze individual elements

throw the effects on a different track, link your frozen sampler track to the effect track and you have the same possibility.

Re: THE NEW BIG USER REQUESTS TOPIC FOR LIVE9!!!!

Single note automation! So able to put different effects on every different note.... I am not talking about drum rack and automating the different chains. I am REALLY talking about the possibility of automating every single note (e.g. C2) differently! - One way to do this is allowing a single-note-...

Re: your 5 crucial quick tips that help your music the most.

Just one BIG tip:

When an amazing melody pops into your mind (especially when in bed at night) GET UP AND PUT IT INTO ABLETON!

If not....Suffer the burden of never recalling it again....
