Y u not just drag the track boundaries? Tried it, but it was a fingerpicked acoustic guitar part I was trying to line up with drums. So the transients were still tough to see. I just had to increase the volume of all my clips by 15 db, then decrease the track volume by 15db just to get fatter waveforms for lining things up. i've been having this problem constantly lately, for the first time. on a brand new macbook pro, running far less than i usually put in my sets. trying to finish tracks for a show coming up and i've wasted at least 2 hours on this issue tonight. really sucks.
