I sync my Korg Electribe to Live (Korg is Slave) via MIDI cable. I have no sync issues and no drifts.

You have to set the correct MIDI delays in the settings. If you change the audio latency later, you may have to adjust the MIDI sync again. Don't use track delay. That seems to have no effect ...

Is it possible to have remote control affect the "set loop position" and "set loop length" on the clips in only one audio channel at the time? I want to assign two buttons to set the loop points on audio track 1, and two other buttons to set the loop points on audio track 2.
