are you trying to capture the experience of the artist playing guitar and doing vocals simultaneously all in the space in which they're performing? stereo pair may not be the best choice to record your artist. maybe you don't have enough gain on your mics. if those are the only mics you got, maybe t...

um, try going into Force Quit (cmd+optn+esc) and Relaunching Finder

parameters = functions, buttons you can push, things you can modulate or automate. like the frequency and resonance settings on a filter.

first off, what is lo-fi? you-tube example please... if you wanna make stuff sound dirty, there are a ton of ways to get there... for starters: Saturator Dynamic Tube Overdrive Redux Erosion Vinyl Dist. Compressor Limiter Reverb use low quality samples, use old crackly distorted samples from vinyl, ...

hell, just drop a Limiter plug on the master channel and lower the Gain level on the Limiter

probably not what you meant, but i'm confused by your jargon.

they look fine to me. i'm perfectly happy with minimal tiny blocks. makes dealing with lots of tracks(like 20+ tracks) wicked easy.

so many ways... good bass playing is essential. if the bass player is slamming the strings, and his volume is all over the place: i rerecord the track by playing the basslines myself. I like to use a preamp with a little bit of compression(btwn2:1-3:1) to record directly to disk , then pitch correct...

nope...... can't do it. i wish it were possible too. also, i wish you could "morph" from one patch to another. the only thing i can think of that come remotely comes close to changing presets via MIDI is Kore(NI). and i think some of the Ohm Force plugins might do it. ...hope someone can p...
