Re: BEST midi drum prog for ableton?

just wanted to throw Groove Agent3 into the ring. its not the best, but not the worst. most of the samples in Groove Agent are really cheesy. but, if your looking for a drum module with a wide range of unique styles(to output to MIDI) it's got that. the humanise knob gives the drums an interesting &...

Re: How can you add more weight to your kick drums with sine

why would you want to do it that way? just my opinion. I'd rather make a kick from scratch, one with a longer tail. making kicks is pretty easy. rather than go through all that editing. also, I like adding the Saturator plugin to kicks. by the way, I don't know that Ableton even has a way to insert ...

Re: How to Make an Electro House Lead with Operator tutorial

anything your heart desires. more tuts on Operator are always good. maybe you could get into the rest of Live instruments too; any kind of hacks/sounds you're able to get out of them that are unique. for instance, I tweak Operator a lot but not as much with Analog, Tension, or Collision. ...been mea...

Re: make my bass sound like a guitar

how about an octave pedal for bass that adds an octave. the electro harmonix bass micro synth does that plus a whole lot more. there are a lot of pedals that add octaves, i forget which other ones add the octave above, most of em seem to add the octave below.

Re: How to approach an audio effect problem?

i suggest you read chapters 18 through 19 in the Live user manual concerning automation and clip envelopes.

this way you can draw in with envelopes in what part of the sample, where the words you want to effect kick in, and send to your effects from there.

Re: Decent guitar for Spanish Classical?

Can anyone explain to me how I attach an image to a post? I've done a (very basic) drawing of a nail shape which i'd like to show to "beats me" copy the image location in your web browser by ctrl clicking. hit the Img button in the forum response. then paste in between the {img} thingies....
