Hello,
I was wondering if I could change how I have to move faders and knobs a pre-determined amount before they become active in controlling ableton. This is especially the case when I MIDI remap the sends to effects. When I change the send bank on the APC when performing, I have to turn all those ...

Warping Effect Issues
For some songs the time stretching markers can have an very noticeable effect, is there any way to mitigate this?

Re: Pre-Listening, what do I need?
Do you own the audio interface you linked to, or the fast track pro? They're different - the one you linked to only has 2 outs, but the Fast Track Pro has 4.
I have the audio interface linked (the Fast Track, not the Fast Track Pro).
It has a headphone out as well as an L and R out. Seems like ...

If Mac, then you can manage with a simple card as you already have be creating an 'aggregate audio device' in your audio prefs in OSX.

Pre-Listening, what do I need?
What would be a cheap way to be able to pre-listen tracks through headphones on live? I've been messing around with an APC40, but I'm about to start dj'ing for friends/parties.
I'm not sure if it is possible with any of these (I have already from a band):

New Macbook Pro's: Solid State or 7200 RPM Hard Drive?
What should I go with? The less latency and ruggedness of the solid state drive sounds enticing but I'm not too comfortable purchasing a product that has a hard drive separate from the norm. There is also the problem of wear leveling which I don't know too much about. Thoughts?

Dance Music Manual Version 2 vs Version 1
Hey what's up guys,
I was wondering if anyone out there has both these books and recommends either one over the other. They seem pretty similar, but I want to make the best choice.
Thanks,
Dustin

APC 40 - Is it enough to start?
Hey guys,
I'm fairly new to DJing and producing. Once I'm done with school I want to get very serious with it (creating and performing music is my passion). For now, I want an ableton controller to start out with to DJ parties. Would the Akai APC 40 be enough for me to start out, or should I ...
