same goes for Logic 6 on OS 9....

Only master rewires work in logic. Just spend about an hour trying different things out...

Tonight I wanted to bounce a song but the audio kept cutting in/out and all the lights were blinking on/off on the 828... very weird.

The song only has 5 audio tracks + 2 fx.
10 Ableton plugins..
3 vst plugins
3 TC powercore plugins
828 has newest drivers (2.1)
It is on a mac 867 with tons of ram ...

This might clutter the interface a bit, but I think it would be useful if there were some sort of guidelines or color strips that indicated the "active" zone for the (zoom, start marker, loop) tools.

Sometimes I want to move the loop region, only to hit the "zoom" button, or the "start marker). Or ...

Found it! Didn't know the Views were independent in the Session and Arrange windows.

I think its the 828. That thing is a nightmare when it does not work.
I'm having similar issues. I just use the soundmanager drivers, sort of makes me mad when I spend so much cash on hardware that does not work.

SDIIfile import would be a good plus.
I work with Logic and it allows me to select file format when bouncing so that's not a major issue.

I see people's point about LIve though. Its really hard to get a "live" set going only triggering clips, if there was a solo function, it would help a bit, but ...

Dedicated solo button would be good.

I' running a mac g4 867 1.5 gig ram and a motu 828.

In Live, in this example, I have about 10 tracks, and about 12 (ableton plugins) and three vst plugins. Once I add too many plugins, the system stops audio.

Is this the 828's problem or am I running too many plugins? ( I tried setting the samples ...
