When?
Ok, I might be stirring up a hornets nest here, but when do you guys think electronic music is going to have it's stairway to heaven or bohemian rhapsody? I personally don't think anything is there yet....

Re: Recording difficulty
When recording a Drum Rack in session view, say over a synth I just played, how do I start recording the Drum Rack immediately as I press the Play All button on the master? I always have to press the Drum Rack's Play button after pressing the Play All for it to actually start recording, at which po...

Re: Digital Audio Workstation Software Shootout
That's funny...Live got one of the lowest scores on the user interface, but the user interface is one of the main reasons I began to use live for all my audio work LOL
Just goes to show you.

About to send a rock EP out for mastering....
I'm about to send my debut EP out for mastering, but I'm pretty sure it's lacking in the level mixing department. So far, it's all been done with my cheap sennheiser eH150 headphones. I know they are way off because I've exported audio out before and listened to it in the car and it definitely didn'...

Re: Looking for some good flute plug ins
I don't know if it's the sound your looking for, but the free Kontact / Kore players from NI have some nice flute sounds if I remember correctly...Also, the essential instruments collection that you get with the boxed version of Live comes with a nice sampled concert flute

Re: arpeggiator acting differently when track is armed/unarmed
It's hard to explain...it changes when and where the different notes are played...like something changed in the arpeggiators settings.Mister36 wrote:Ah, right, okay. I was just ruling out the other thing first and checking what you meant.
That is a bit odd...
In what way does its behaviour change?

Re: arpeggiator acting differently when track is armed/unarmed
You mean it's different when you're playing to when it's "effecting" the recorded MIDI clip? If so, the difference is in your playing vs. what is recorded. No... Say I have a midi clip that is one bar long...and I paint in some notes. I place an arpeggiator on the track and and press play...

Re: arpeggiator acting differently when track is armed/unarmed
I guess I should say it acts differently when I'm looping "painted in" midi notes in a scene...

arpeggiator acting differently when track is armed/unarmed
Does anybody know why the arpeggiator acts different when I have my track armed or unarmed in session view?

Selling music directly through itunes or through cdbaby?
I'm wondering what the best route would be if I wanted to get my music on itunes, amazone, etc. I plan on creating my own independent label to release my music, but I don't know if I should apply to become a content provider on itunes (looks like it takes a long time) or go through cdbaby which says...

I live in a 1 bedroom apt, so I'm stuck in the bedroom.... But it is nice having a view to the outside (especially on a sunny day)
