This album is beautiful stuff. Who cares if it does or does not compare to Aphex twin or Squarepusher. Its called music, which in my book is called "art". WHy can't some of you just enjoy the music for what its worth, and stop comparing the artist. It makes the experience much less enjoyable. The ...

man, you have exactly the same problem as me, crazy we both just brought it up recently. I am seriously confused. Strange how you have the same exact problem where you have a pretty descent processor putting out indescent audio performance.

It sounds a lot like the dreaded pentium 4 denormalization problem. I have been having the same sort of problems on my computer and did some research to reveal that denormalization is a big cause of a lot of those problems. Try googling it.

well I did a bit of research. Looks like it probably is the dreaded denormalization problem. There seemed to be a lot of similar problems with 2.4ghz pentium 4 computers, which is very strange. I am gonna mess with that digitalfishphone plugin and see if that helps, because I dont wanna have to buy ...

I get the same problem, takes forever to freeze, and doesnt really save much CPU, but my computer sucks, so that might be the problem.

I think I am definitely on the same path as you. My next computer will surely be a Macbook or Imac, they seem to have much sturdier hardware, and much fewer problems such as viruses or driver issues.

By the way, I looked through my BIOS and can't seem to find anything out about hyperthreading, is ...

Tried the ASIO4ALL drivers, and not much changed. Still same problem. When I first start the test its as low as 45%, then jumps to 60 and up from there. Has this happened to anyone else? I have ruled out the hard drive, sound card, and RAM, what else other then the program itself could it be?

messed with audio and plug-in buffer and I don't have hyperthreading, and I still get the same problem. Always starts out descently but always seem to crap out after a few minutes . I can even let the loop play out and somehow the cpu jumps at some random point, really wierd.

It started fine, but was all the way up at 70%......I let it play for about a minute and all of a sudden the program started squeakin and burpin like a little rotten baby. So I stopped it, and pressed play ...
