Merging MIDI files after export
As you all might know, Ableton isn't able to export multiple MIDI files into one multi-track file. I really needed this so I created a little tool that allows you to merge your exported files into one. I've tested this with some of my music and then imported the file into MuseScore and it looked gre...

New ambient electronica track: To Dust
Hi gang! I have a new track up called To Dust. It's a spacy ambient track composed in Live with mostly Synth1, Alchemy and MicroTonic (I'm finding I don't really need anything else these days to keep me happy :). I did a quick mix this morning so I could start sharing it with people and would love t...

Re: Some Feedback would be awesome
My opinions on blizzard: It's a cool track. I like the sounds you have in there. Make an intro, introduce that crazy synth a bit later maybe. Kick needs a bit more oOmph! (compression, bass). Drums need more variation, you have that pretty basic hat/snare pattern going through the entire track Chang...

new track: Fall (instrumental acoustic chillout electronica)
Hi people, here is a calm and airy instrumental track featuring my Ovation acoustic guitar (which I also used to record the main beat). A little melody introduces the track, which then goes into a first part in G major (lydian melody), before modulating to D minor. Composed entirely in Ableton Live ...

Hi Hamish,
thanks for taking the time to listen and comment!
I intentionally didn't make the kick too strong since I wanted this track to be mellow/ambient.

Re: Feedback Appreciated, Cinematic / Electronic
Hi lush, I would add some cello. I think it would be a good contrast to the high (violin?) strings, and would add some low end to your track (for which it is very lacking right now). Also, the violin gets a bit annoying after a while. Maybe have a break in the middle, and change its sound a bit afte...

Re: First two composititions
Heya, thanks for sharing! I really like Buttermilk Breeze, cool atmosphere. You should watch your levels though, you are clipping at several spots. I suggest you try dropping 4dB for each channel (not the master). You can always add some dynamics at the end (like compression) if the overall level is...

Re: My first beat...
It sounds like one of those bass drum hits is too late or too early (in the second variation).
Now add some melody on top of this, and try to kill the monotony by adding drum and bass variations!
