Re: Re Record function

The way you state is how it is done, just undo and re-record which is simple enough as is or just make a simple macro keyboard key to do it in a single press if you like

Re: Re:

A musician doesn't need an automatic chord key. I am a musician that can play every chord on the planet. Extremely well in fact. However, depending on what you are trying to do, assigning a chord to one button can be very useful. It doesn't make anyone less of a 'musician'. I am surprised to hear t...

Re: Syncing Ableton Live 10 Tracks

Ah, yes makes sense with some pictures. Session mode is a "non linear" mode so you do not have a timeline to jump everything forward on. All session mode does is play clips locked to the BPM and does not care about the length of each clip. The issue is if you have one clip that is 64 bars ...

Re: Stop gaslighting and fix your cpu issues

NGL I'm using a pretty good desktop pc. frozen tracks into sends in 11 right now is keeping me with a steady 80% cpu usage. It's manageable while making a song, but once it develops and I get into the mix stage it becomes hard to work with. Hey you have the exact same specs as me, pretty good, not ...

Re: Hardrive not saving parts of my user library

Always have your HDD plugged in if you have your library in it BEFORE launching live. That would be the solution.

Re: Controller Delay

When asking for help with software any time you should always post your OS and computer specs (add it to your signature can save you seconds of extra work). Also what audio interface you are using and what the driver, samplerate and buffer settings are. I have a suggestion but you need to first fill...

Re: Audio interface feed and whiten noise from guitar

It's a grounding issue. Laptops don't have the best grounding paths between power and USB connections so you have a guitar plugged into your amp I am guessing which is connected to power then plugs into the audio interface which connects to laptop which is also plugged into power. As a test, if you ...

Re: Stop gaslighting and fix your cpu issues

Also consider that every person has a unique setup. It's a bit easier with Mac users compared to PC since the differences between computers is highly reduced, but still, every one uses a different soundcard, midi controller, screens, drives, wireless gadget, graphics card etc... There's litterally ...
