YEAH!! I'm really, really happy that for the first time I could use Live as a slave to my Machinedrum. Thanks Ableton! Been waiting for this for a long long time..

it's a great buy. definitely not the cheapest laptop, but very stable and reliable - which is what you if you use it for playing live. I returned to mac last year after being lured away to PC for some 5 years, so..

and on several computers, PC as well as Mac.

it seems as if your computer has to struggle..do you have enough RAM installed?

ok, eh, good idea, but maybe not so good if there's a relation between Mozy and your computer slowing down.
I had a similar problem (sluggishness) with Apple's Timecapsule and eventually decided to back up another way (dumping all my new music on a 8 gig usb stick that i carry with me).
