Let's say I drop an mp3 into my project that is set to 117bpm. Ableton will automatically warp the audio file to 117 which is great!

BUT when I slice this file to a midi track it reverts to the original tempo of the audio file. Is there any way around this??

Try going into preferences and messing around with the latency settings...

I am using my Yamaha Motif as my controller via USB.

When I load up a drum kit or slice a sample into a midi track there are always hits that are out of the range of my controller. Is there a way to fin this problem???
