I finally got Ableton Live up and running can anyone point me in the direction of a good plug in that I can use to chop up samples sorta like phatmatik pro which I was going to purchase but I cant find anywhere...thanks in advance

oh thanks alot guys I had forgot to come back and see if anyone had replied....when I get home from work today I am going to research the programs you guys mentioned...for the life of me I couldnt find a copy of phatmatik pro guess it is discontinued.....

done.............keeping it moving..........it has to be my system i am getting it corrrected tomorrow...

all I know is that alllllllllllll my other programs work fine with NO problems at all. I can see that the problem is with rewire.........stil doesn't mean that i cant be pissed.....

make sure you have your driver installed if you need one....then from the Live Lite menu goto Live then Preferences then choose Midi/synch then from here you should see your keyboard listed make sure that you choose input for your device. etc etc use the Lessons provided to figure out how to use ...

so today tech services e mailed me back and told me to click on the Live icon ctrl click the Live app and choose "show package contents".Then open the "contents" folder. Then open the "resources" folder. Take the "Rewire.inst" out of the folder and place it on the desktop. Ok so i did all of that ...

yup did that ..and still wouldn't start...still waiting to hear from tech services......it's hard to near impossible to be patient when you have spent hard earned money on a product that you cant even use....

let me up this post......I feel like i have been robbed.........and like an idiot I brought alot of new equiptment specificall to use with Live 5.03....

I just went to my disc utilities and verified/ repaired persmisisions to see if that would do the trick..and still wasn't able to get Live 5.03 to start....
