Re: Low Latency Soundcards
ok.. I'm realizing you're for reals... ...man.. it's nice that M-audio is working for you... but you should really COMPARE.. before you recommend one over the other... seems to me you don't really know the differences .. from my experience (owned 2 MOTU cards(2408 and 24i/o ON WINDOWS)...and 2 M-au...

Re: Low Latency Soundcards
Fast Track Ultra or Motu Ultralite? I have the money for the Motu Ultralite and I've heard it works fine with Win 7. I've heard a lot of bad reviews on the Fast Track Ultra though. Do guys think its worth buying over the Ultralite? I think you answered your question............ I've not seen any ba...

Re: Low Latency Soundcards
i am on mac and love it but i would bet the fast track ultra has better drivers on windoze than motu stuff easily. the fast track ultra's are cheap on ebay. you've got to be kidding ...right? no, i'm dead serious. many people complain about motu drivers on windoze. maudio has seriously turne...

Re: Low Latency Soundcards
i recently had to rebuild my setup (studio robbed) and had to choose a low cost usb2 soundcard for low latency. i found the m-audio fast track ultra has been totally redesigned since avid bought m-audio. its low latency usb2 in the same league as the rme fireface UC and the drivers seem to be well w...

FS: Live 8 and max for live
Just had my studio burglarized so I need to sell off my live 8 and max4live in order to get an acoustic guitar. Looks like its back to garage band for a while for me. PM me and we can work out the sale via email. Basically ableton support will transfer the serials to your ableton.com user account so...

one more thumbs up for the hackintosh i built a silent rack mount unit with q6600 on a bad axe 2 and 8 gigs of ram.... it is more stable than my macbook. Feels about 10x more powerful. Low latency performance is amazing. This is the rig I have always dreamed of. I can do all my web developing, desig...

that hum-x looks intersting, but i'm not sure how useful it would be as the soundcard is causing the humming, and that's not plugged into the mains (it's powered by firewire from the mac). do you think it would be useful to plug the mac in to one of the hum-x things? yes, you plug the computer into...

I can confirm that the latest drivers are excellent; on my new lappie, I can run the Live 5 performance test at 32 samples and CPU is around 30%. This is serious kick ass. holy mother of god. am I dreaming? 32 samples. no farging way. even more efficiency? the team at rme have been drinking the cof...

Checking the RME forum, it seems that RME have supplied duel with an early Mactel driver to test.... Fingers crossed, it won't be long in coming. The current price of $99 for the adapter is a steal if it means i can use my multiface with my MBP. And to think, i nealry sold it.... YES YES YES YES YE...
