Re: Launching of complex sequences automatically - or easily..!
I have to say that it sounds like you could avoid a lot of workarounds by at least trying to translate your current method from Arrange view into Session view. Yeah. Clips can be as long as you like, not just loops. And you can use follow actions to reconstruct the running order you'd have in arran...

Don't forget Operator has looping envelopes (including the assignable pitch envelope) and the OSCs can be used as pitch LFOs as well.
Shout out for Electric, pretty flexible beyond E-Piano sounds and not too bad at those either.
Also Collision is excellent for what it does. I like it a lot.

Re: Playing midi chords like drum rack samples/mapping chords
You could use a drum rack with pitch & chord devices followed by whatever in the cell/s.

Re: slicing into 128's
Quick test suggests using MIDI Effect Rack *might* work. You don't need an Inst Rack. It is showing all the samplers in the outer rack cells though so mebbe that still the same isssue.

Re: slicing into 128's
So you can't build a MIDI Effect Rack with 128 chains w. Pitch effects and put it in front of the Drum Rack? (i.e. use that chain selector to send different notes of course). You're saying that screws up if you want the whole lot in another cell?
Can something be done w. a Sampler slice preset?

Re: Resampling into live is volume-weak - solutions?
I think it unlikely that the audio card settings would have an effect on that as the resampling is done internally in Live. One other thought - is there anything on your Master bus that could be affecting the level - a Limiter maybe? What you gte when resampling is what would be coming out of the ma...

Re: Resampling into live is volume-weak - solutions?
Yes they are different - one is quieter! ;-) I was replying in part to the post above mine which seemed to assume you were limiting to -9dB. You may be but from what you've said it seemed more like you were just boosting the level. At 24bit this may not be a significant issue for sound quality. But ...

Re: Resampling into live is volume-weak - solutions?
You're not necessarily losing anything if you're just using the Limiter to boost the gain without hitting any peaks, you could also just turn the gain up on the clip or use a Utility instead.

Ha,
Basically no, not really.
If they are perfectly lined up on different tracks you sort of can, but that's it.

I think they refer to this annoyingly missing feature as object selection (as opposed to area selection). So yes, let's have object selection please.
