I was actually going to completely forget about pro tools and just run ableton with the digi 001 on the laptop, as my pro tools is ancient.

Also Iam not sure if i'm looking at the right thing but does the converter cost $1000? would i not be cheaper just getting something new ...

Iam searching the web for converters and wires which isn't the most fun i've had on the internet but needs must. Still a little confused as to what I'm looking for though
