Hi, I am having problems trying to deal with Focusrite Mixcontrol and seeking help. I want to use an external DJ mixer so I have an audio channel with tracks on routed to outputs 1+2 and another audio channel set to outputs 3+4. Outputs correspond on back of Sapphire pro 14 with DJ mixer line inputs...

Thanks for Reply Garry. I had not noticed that. I did just click on it and theres noting there but looked in preferences and found "set path to ...." thing. Sorted now.

Upgraded from 8 to 9 over the holidays and within 9 I don't have my impulse & simpler instrument I made. I don't have any of my instrument & FX racks accessible.

How can I get them back?

When Live 9 was announced the upgrade to suite was only179 euro for me so I since been saving. I went to but this morning and it was 254 euro.

When & why did this change as I not wont be able to afford it?

You can click on the triangle symbol to unfold delay's parameters next to the preset save symbol. Here you can just have the controls you use selected. I do this a lot these days and wonder why dev's even bother with gui's. Other option which will deal with manual commands is to make an effect rack ...

I put semi redundant plugins in a VST archive folder elsewhere just in case I need any of them if i am uploading an old projects rather than deleting them. Keeps my normal VST folder to a selective working minimum without having to make too hard choices.

I would not put the library onto an external drive. When this drive is not connected and you open Live, then Live will create a new empty library at the default-location. After fresh install I made a new location for library on external drive, put all the original preset folders in the ableton/library folder but when I fire live up and click on instrument rack, scale or any other ableton device there are no presets, no saved racks, nothing. Yes I copied the old library before wiping hard drive. I just dont know where to put it back to.

I have successfully enabled the new location for the samples however I do not know where to put the preset folder i.e. the folder with presets for impulse, simpler, instruments racks, all effects like auto filter, scale effects racks etc.

Completed a fresh install of my whole HD and now putting things back to how they should be. Anyone know where Ableton's preset+rack are folders kept on mac OSX? Its a good idea to sample your analog drum machines anyway as analog oscillators are not phase locked. Unfortunatly my $50 off any ableton product voucher from the korg nano doesnt work with sampler so cant get it
Can only use voucher with live 8, 8 intro or suite now. Gutted
