I've got a set template for DJing, it'll always be dropped into that set so the return tracks will always be the same. The only way to save the envelope now is to save it with the set, I'd rather save it with the clip, like you can do with every other envelope.

saving envelopes with clips

Hi,
I'm having a problem saving envelopes with clips. I've got an envelope automating the mixer send, but it doesn't save with the clip. I can save clip-volume envelopes, or mixer-volume, but not mixer-send. Doesn't seem to make sense, unless I'm missing something.
any tips much appreciated

Ok, managed to extract myself from the tangled mess of midi confusion I found myself in, got the BCR running mackie emulation in stand alone mode using another midi interface on the machine. the refusal of the usb midi driver to send output will forever remain a mystery!
thanks for the tips

Good tip, didn't work out for me unfortunately. I can't get back to the generic usb driver, it says "no driver files have been backed up for this device" when i try to roll back the driver. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling on a different usb port, in the hopes of getting the USBAUDIO device ...

(thanks for helping out by the way, i'm pretty stumped!)

Yeah, rebooted after installing driver, and its powered up when I launch live, but I don't get USB[1] and USB[2] in the device list, just BCR2000[1]. tried reinstalling the drivers, to no avail.

Are you using the behringer drivers, or the windows generic usbaudio?

(my OS is win xp home)

can't output to BCR2000 using usb midi driver

having some problems with my new BCR2000, wondering if any other users have had similar difficulty.

I installed the latest USB midi drivers from the Behringer site, and Live receives midi from the BCR ok, but doesn't transmit anything back to it (checked the midi preferences settings in Live ...
