Hi,
I am about to have a couple of gigs this summer, I'd love to play my own tracks. They are all mixed very well, but I am worried that the sub will be a bit overwhelming on a big system... Should I put a basic mastering-rack on the master channel just to compress/limit and tame the bass?

40 mins Deephouse mix for Greta Cottage Workshop
Hey,
Matt, from the cosy Greta Cottage Workshop, asked me to put together some tracks for the GCW Radio.
The result is a 40 minutes mix with tracks from my favorites. As usual its not about finding the latest tunes, but the real good ones. The mix features an unreleased version of my track ...

One for the cold (20 min Deep House mix)
Hi,
I've just uploaded a new mix to my soundcloud. This one is for the cold January. A deep warming 20 minutes.
It's finished with an exclusive remix of "Feist - Honey honey".

Enjoy, follow, download, spread.
All the best,
Charlie

Re: Push + Xone K2, overlapping midi
Okay. After some more testing it doesn't seem that the midi channels are overlapping. I have changed the midi channel on the K2 from 15 to 10 the problem still remains.
I'm lost here. Something makes the K2 to interfere with Push, or the other way around...
Any suggestions?

Push + Xone K2, overlapping midi
I have a bit of a problem. I am using Ableton Live 9.1 along with Traktor in a DJ/Live configuration.
I am using a Ableton Push for the clip launching etc, and a Allen & Heath Xone K2 for mixing. The Xone K2 is mapped both to Traktor AND Ableton. I also have a iPad, running Lemur, but it's not ...

Live 9 + Traktor Pro 2 -Sync issues
Hi,
I have started to explore the world of Ableton Live 9 and Traktor Pro 2 combined. I have linked the two softwares with Traktors ability to send a midi clock. Ableton receives the clock and I have adjusted the delay so if gets in perfect sync. I have routed all tracks from Trakor to separate ...

Ah! That's smart! Will try it. Sounds like a possible solution. Thanks!TYLRbass wrote:What I have done in the past is map the knob how you wish and then set up a button that sends the same CC # with a value of 0.

Midi controller with endless rotary encoders - Tips?
Hi,
I use the Push & Xone K2 when I DJ. But now I am after another midi controller which must have about 8 endless rotary encoders (like the APC40 & Push). Would also be great if the device is small. I have thought about the "Novation Nocturn"...
Any controllers that comes to mind?

Re: Reset Sends to zero with a button?
I will check out Kapture Pad!
I have tried to Midi-map the send to a knob then key-map the same send.. It won't work properly. If I set the key-mapping to "-inf dB" it changes the the midi-mapping to the same thing. Hmm..
To sum things up:

Ah, never thought of mapping both midi and key to the same knob. Sounds like it would work!
Thanks for the tip.

Re: Reset Sends to zero with a button?
try this (no M4L REQUIRED)
MIDI or KEY map all your send macros to one button on your controller or computer keyboard
then to the left where it shows your values set both values for every macro at 0.
every time you push the button on your controller/keyboard it will bring the macros back to zero ...

Reset Sends to zero with a button?
Hi,
I have been searching for a way to reset all sends on one track with the push of a button. I haven't found anything yet, maybe you have a solution?
The idea is that when I turn up all the sends in a break I want a Reset-to-zero buttom when the kick comes in.
Max4Live or any other solutions are ...
