...of ableton on one pc? any issues with shared folders etc? licence issues? any clashes? i'm currently using 5 which i find very very stable. i've recently become interested in live 8 but as 8 is still relatively new i'd prefer to keep 5 for live usage. seriously, i've been using pcs for 15 years a...

sampler

i use simpler and i really like it...however its a bit limited in what it can do...

i really love the way you can drag in drop samples in and visually set up the loop parts, start/end points etc

do you think it'll be any good compared to other vst samplers about?

i am in the market for one

live automation?!?

im using ableton live 5.. i want to fade out some audio im recording "on the fly" that i'll be looping, however the automation doesnt respond if its pre drawn in as soon as you start recording the red active line i have pre drawn in the envelope goes a brown colour and the red square next ...

btw this set up doesnt work in v5...you cant have multible records enabled but it does save on cpu with the fx set up Oh yes you can! navigate to options->preferences->misc->behaviour->exclusive and click on the "arm" button ta tbh ive barely scratched the surface of live... i only use it...

cheers for all the info pal...i'll check the tracks out later... you can hear my stuff here (theres no live recordings though) im a live 5 user and in the past the parts ive looped have been very simple but with new tracks its getting more complex..... i also use a boss rc20 and line 6 dl4 as looper...

You probably know this, but if you are looping to Live's tempo (ie using the click in headphones or tempo locked backing tracks) you can set quantize to "bar" making it easier to hit the pedal twice anytime during the measure preceding when you want to record a loop. But it is still surel...
