Re: STRATEGIES TO GET THE BEST OUT LIVE : DELAY COMPENSATION
You could do it manually by a simple delay, but its not a workaround for me and shift all tracks except the tracks causing latency. . There`s the same issue with renoise, but the possibility to reset synced effects that get out of time by delay compensation. Delay compensation is a one-way road in L...

Max API CtrlEnvelope by key triggers?
Is there a way to trigger the Max API CtrlEnvelope by key triggers?
There`s just a trigger button that can be useful for some live triggers.

Re: T E S T ( speech synthesis example in Live )
I disagree with fx3 as I think there`s always OSC Phase Sync in operator as there are no phase cancellations happening, but you can`t turn it off.

I heard the solution in a sample by LX Paterson from the Orb:
The second one is shorter than the first one.

Re: making interesting pads with operator
For me a a little bit of modulation by using FM with a fixed frequency (=LFO) gets it, operators limitation is the one LFO, so perhaps you could use a max4live LFO, too. I use the one LFO often in sync mode, so I have to find another solution. Take the depeche dope preset as an example for an osc wi...

Re: VU Meter/ PSP Vintage Warmer/ Loudness metering
Yes, I will let the mastering thing do someone else, and tried that already, but the master was still not loud and full enough, but I didn`t waste my money, cause I heard what`s the problem in my mixing. Especially I realized to take out some of the lows at 100-200hz out of the bass and the lower mi...

Re: VU Meter/ PSP Vintage Warmer/ Loudness metering
thanks ofps, so the difference between peak+RMS means that RMS shows the average level of a set time. So ppm is the faster analogue meter, good for levelling but not to display the loudness. So why not the peak meter? Well, floating point is still a secret for me, got to read more about it. Quiet co...

VU Meter/ PSP Vintage Warmer/ Loudness metering
hi, so I`m getting into next level, my mixes sound better, the sounds have more dynamic, but my loudness at all isn`t enough. I`m reading bob katz audio mastering book (in german) at the moment as I`m searching a way to get it right. VU-Meters seems to be good to check the loudness of the mix, excep...

Re: Ozzilator - Meltdown (electronic disco)
hey, like the track, how did you set the sub kick, without any pitch envelope? Using resonance in the filter perhaps could give it some more punch in the 200-500 hz area. I`ll check that kick myself as I was searching a way to control the sub and knock,
cheers
