Just wondering, anyone else here uses the sfz vst (soundfont player)?

Since 6.0.5 these won't load anymore in my sets (get an Insufficient Memory error).

First I thought it wouldn't be such a big problem but I notice that I use this vst quite a lot.

I'd love to see it fixed (it worked fine in 6 ...

I see your point and i am glad you found a solution.
well my demands are a bit different:

You need to cue SCENES (audio and midi) with Program Changes,
I need to trigger samples and play instruments via the midi keyboard.

Now i have about 30+ .als sets already mapped and volume tuned.

I have been thiking about buying a set of eletronic drums (see link). I want to play them as AUDIO or MIDI and record them in Ableton.

Anyone done this already? Any pain in the ass issues?

TRying to avoid spending if its not a smooth thing to use with Live

seems vista want stop us using our favorites open source and or free progs with its "trusted technology" (who could run code on their OS ? i let you guess :twisted: )
the only reason i don't switch to linux is music software and Live
so please study a linux port of this great soft ...
