when I noticed that my MPB can handle 48khz / 24 bits (and above), I simply dropped my external soundcard.

Before a 64 bits version of Live or whatever, it would be nice already to get a Live 8 that actually does work and doesn't crash every five minutes. Live 8 is also unusable in a studio situation.
It's the worst piece of shit version of Live I've ever used, and I've tried most versions since 1.1.
It's 8.2.7 now, the stupid "can't locate plug ins" bug still hasn't been fixed yet, and it crashes approximatively 50 times per hour.

issue still happening on 8.2.5… after downloading 8.2.5 I was able to load a few projects without the issue for a few minutes, and then it just went back… *sigh*
