To be honest the lead sound was actually meant for a trance song, but i got stuck on that one. So i decided to lower the speed and tadaa. But thanks for the advice. I'm definately going to look in to it.

After a lot of muddling and testing and of course failing. I have finally found the inspiration to make a DNB-track. Of course it's not finished, but i got so excited that i wanted to post it!

A couple of days ago I posted my first trance track Transient Test. Well I re-recorded the lot made some improvements, like pumping the bass up a little and making the lead stand out more. And to top it off i added a Pjanoo.

As we speak i'm actually working on a rerecording of the song. get the bass a little louder and make the stabs less apparant.

Thanks. I'm thinking of re-recording it seeing as some of the parts are in fact very long and they get a little dull.

From the moment i started with music making in Ableton, I really wanted to make an epic trance song. I'm from Holland, so Tiesto is a bigshot here. I started doing these tutorial sessions and here it is. It is definatly not finished because when i started listening to it as a wav. I ...

Yeah. I guess you're right. It was just very handy that i could watch the tutorial and then do it in ableton. But i actually found out that when i plug in my headphones, i can actually assign ableton to go to my headphones and the computer itself to the speakers. Not excactly what i wanted but hey ...

Ok. I checked my Asio4all driver and it seems that my Realtek HD audio output is unavailable. It might be in use by something else or there is something wrong with my MS (something) synth wavetable.

Apparantly if i disable all of the playback devices i have all sound back in Ableton ...

When playing around with the soundsettings because i wanted to "DJ" Use my Headphones and my speakers seperately... Now i don't know what i did, but somehow I only have sound in either Ableton or my computer.I sometimes don't even have sound in Ableton.

Sounds very good man.

If i'm ever going to do phychedelics THIS is what i'll listen to haha.
