Re: Ableton Live 12 crackling issues that are not present in Ableton Live 11.
This is quite uncommon. I teach Ableton to professional musicians and sound designers and ASIO4ALL has alwayx been an improvement. I'm afraid the culprit is the Shure driver. Did you try with another audio interface ?

You should try smaller buffers. 8192 seems to be a ridiculously high value. And also try ASIO4ALL.

You should add a signature with your setup to narrow your question.

Re: Temporarily "Lock" info window on scenes notes
That also means implementing a way to scroll through the notes, leave space to prevent seeing two or more notes at once and select the right one. Seems much more hassle than using and existing window... Would it be difficult for devs to offer an option to lock the info window on scenes (back to ...

I don't see how to access it from the LOM.

Temporarily "Lock" info window on scenes notes
For theater or live sound design or improv, I always use the Info window to write down some cues or related notes. But as soon as you select something else than scenes, you lose the focus and your notes are hidden.

That means you'll get all minor versions upgrade as 12.x.x but will have to pay full price for major upgrades (that is from 13.x.x).

Re: Expensive update
I meant snapshots, you are right. There must be some way to use snapshots recall, maybe something like "manual takeover" over automation, because like you I think this would be tighter with native integration.

Re: Expensive update
Also something that bothers me concerning that upgrade price : most of the deepest developments (even the latest 11 updates) seem aimed at Push users. I use Live since version 1 but never intended to buy one as I prefer "opened controllers". Same for MPE.

Re: Expensive update
The upgrade price is in line with what every other Live Suite upgrade has been. Not sure why you're surprised by it if you've been using Live since version 1.
I don't remember having paid about 200€ (well, ok, 199...) except maybe for the previous upgrade, maybe because I upgraded with special ...

Expensive update
Don't know how other users feel about it, but 199€ for Suite upgrade is quite expensive. I'm aboard since Live 1 but feel I won't upgrade because of this unless I really have to do so. This is surprising because it seems to me there are much more legit users nowadays.

Re: Live 12 empty set eats 53% CPU/kills battery on M1Max at idle
Well, that is assuming that if cpu goes up when this is deactivated an empty set consuming 55-60% of the cpu would be something desirable.
