Re: 64BIT !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ableton hasn't released an updated version for what, 3 years now? So the problem is not the 64bit issue but why it's taking Ableton so long to iron out any bugs. It seems to me they rolled out beta versions with users' money. So I am sure if they had Ableton sorted by now they would also have releas...

Re: 64BIT !!!!!!!!!!!!!

If Ableton wanted to explain the issue, they would have done it already my friend, there are so many related threads online! Yes. Many companies (Apple, etc) have a policy not to discuss future products. Ableton apparently falls into that category. The downside is that it potentially creates negati...

Re: 64BIT !!!!!!!!!!!!!

None of which apply to Ableton Live. I agree, what on earth is the Ableton issue related to Pro Tools?? I gave Pro Tools as an illustration of the unique barriers each developer might encounter transitioning to 64 bit; not to imply Ableton has the same issues as Avid. Not that it would help make th...

Re: MIDI: loop end, how to adjust the step size

I guess, you can do that through the Simpler or Sampler supposing you have your kick on a drum rack or an Impulse. For example, if your kick is on a drum rack inside a Sampler, you can go to the Sample tab, activate Loop(two arrows pointing to the right), then go to Modulation tab, activate the Aux ...

Playhead position after deactivating/reactivating warp

When is Session view, sometimes I want to deactivate warping during playback. When I do that sometimes I get a glitch in audio or when I deactivate warping the playhead will jump on a different location on the waveform. Is there a way to fix that?

Re: Mixing in Ableton (mixing tracks in different original tempo

Sometimes a solid wall of uninterrupted beats for hours on end can be pretty monotonous. I hear you...My problem is that till I get to that ambient end of the song, the part before needs to be warped so that it can be synchronized with tempo effects. If you were to mix a completely ambient set, fai...

Re: Mixing in Ableton (mixing tracks in different original tempo

What you described could work but you loose flexibility? What if I want to cross-fade to the next song at another point in time different than the transition clip? You see what I mean?
