i can't seem to get this to work the way I want, im wondering if its possible.

For instance on a PC I just mapped the Global Tape Stop effect to a midi button on my controller , and just hit the button whenever i want to trigger the tape stop slow effect.

From what I've read the thoroughput for USB 2.0 just isn't consistent like Firewire is. Which is why you'll see Firewire 400 drives outperform USB 2.0 drives even though USB 2.0 is rated at a higher 480 Mb/s. That inconsistency would effect audio ...

Bassline works on my Powerbook, bassline pro murdered it, it's not very CPU friendly.

If it's just pure 303 you're after you really can't go wrong with Bassline.
