i use track markers for that, have couple of markers on my template and they are assigned to numbers (1-5)
when i want to re-record i just have to push space(stop), ctrl+z (undo), push number 1-5, push r (record) and space

whats the easiest way to chop up your whole song to 4 bar loops ?
any idea ? in recycly you have to know exact lenght in bars(you just can´t put on the tempo and then chop)

for live. it kinda lacks a lot of workflow enhancement options which can be
found in other daws (customizable shortcuts, mousewheel zoom etc. etc)

i need a new laptop that works better with my fireface uc
i´m currently using Lenovo n200 dualcore 2ghz, 2gb, nvidia graphics.
but i can´t get latency low enough to play live, i have to work with 256
and with my live set i have to use 512.. i have win xp and live 7

im using couple of external synths in my live set, currently i play those with
my oxygen 8 v2 25 .. and im wondering is there any midi keyboard with really
easy midi channel change, cause last gig i had to do lot of button pushin while
singing and it wasn´t nice .. there should be one button ...

thanks! i think that i´ll try to do with maschine perhaps i edit pads to do some of that stuff

if you use live 6/7 then you can use vitaminL , it gives you browser select..
pc only though . alt+ f1,f2,f3 selects the folder then you can use arrow keys to
browse those folders..

can you recomend me some step sequencer/piano roll sequencer vst that would be
better and faster that lives ??? i hate lives piano roll thing, its so fuckin slow

1) mousewheel zoom!!!!! for heavens sake, why the hell there is no mousewheel zoom ???
its the fastest way to zoom ...

2) sysex support, i use hardware mainly, so SYSEX me up..

3)customizable ONE key shortcuts (those 3 keyshortcuts are slow and stupid)
all the functions you need all the time ...
