Does anyone know if there is a way of doing this? Every time I want to scroll through, say, some kicks Live keeps resetting the parameters for that cell. It's a right pain.

Thanks D but I can't find that option. Could it be: Preferences> Record Warp Launch > Select on Launch or Select Next Scene on Launch?

If one shots are being triggered from another controller, the Akai MPK Mini for example, then the selection box will jump to those tracks which is a bit of a pain. I'm looking for a way where either the movement of the selection box can be disabled from the controllers and scrolling can be done via ...

I don't want to midi map the direction arrows, I just want to be able to leave the box routed there and move it manually if I need to. That way if I need to move the selection whilst somebody else is playing one shots I can do that.

This is my first post and I'm pretty new to Ableton. I'm trying to play back my hardware via midi but I'm not having any joy.

I have a 707 and when that is sync'd to Ableton's midi clock it works fine but if I try to trigger it via midi I'm getting no sound.
