my buddy just got an m-audio fasttrack pro,and wed like to link my macbook with his laptop via midi.we have no idea how to do it...can anyone help?

Say you have a track playing on audio track 1... your global tempo is set to...say 120. Is there a way to set the audio of another track, audio track 2 to a tempo of 60?or will the both play at 60? Any sugestions are greatly appreciated [/b]
