i know what you mean by that gap, i experience the same thing on my powerbook. i find loading a pluggo plugin before starting any heavy processing helps clear it up. so i wasnt sure by your post, are you using osx???

havent found any yet, im kind of pissed at emagic right now as they have given no word of any support for the emi 2/6 in osx and i just checked their spring 2002 news letter released today and still nothing.....?

im guessing it is because i use both the emi 2/6 and an 828 and i have the same problems.

hmmmm... having some trouble here, when using the emi 2/6 i go to edit a sample ive recorded with live, when the sample playsback within peak it sound like its at eightbit and has lots of harsh noise???? im guessing its within the emi 2/6 asio drivers?? anyone have any suggestions or a fix????

wondering if any of you have seen/used this metric halo i/o fire wire card, similar i/o config to the 828 only it powers of the bus. looks cool.
