Re: Live 10 Performance Test
Benchmarking from the most current version and related demo set seems the most obvious solution. Why not create a new thread? Just tested the Ninajirachi - In the Rain (Live 11 Suite) demo on my Macbook M2 and my Mini M1 both with 8GB Ram, with my Baby Face Pro set to 48kHz/64 sample buffer. Identi...

Mac M1 vs M2 - performance comparison
Hi all, thought someone might find this useful: I have a Mac Mini M1 2021 8GB 128GB and a 2022 Macbook Air M2 8GB 512 GB. My interface is a Babyface Pro. With identical interface settings (48000 sample rate and 64 sample buffer), with the Ninajirachi - In the Rain (Live 11 Suite Demo) I get identica...

Re: Reverse Automation
+1 I would love to see a Rev. button (that could be assigned key/MIDI commands) in the clip Envelopes section.

Reverse clip automation?
Hi. Does anyone know if it's possible to reverse the automation embedded in a clip? For instance, if a clip is playing with an automation drawn to make the mixer volume set to increase, is there a way to flip the automation so that the volume decreases?

Mojave - pops and crackles not there with High Sierra
Just a word of caution, don't take the chance of upgrading to OS X Mojave if you don't have to. In my experience running Live on a 2015 13" Macbook Pro, I get pops and crackles with simple sessions where the CPU meter is under 20% with Mojave, and they don't happen when I boot up of an external...

Looper: tiny fade in/fade out to avoid clicks and pops
If you hold a note/chord, and start looper in the middle of the sustained note/chord, Looper frequently generates a pop at the loop in/out point. Annoying. It should include a tiny fade in/out - just enough to avoid the dreaded click at the loop point.

simple M4L MIDI send device - does it exist?
Hello. I was wondering if anyone knows of a M4L device that receives a MIDI message (like note on) and sends it back out through the same track to a MIDI controller? Here's what prompted this: I'm trying to get visual LED feedback on my Midi Fighter Twister controller while using Live's Looper. Even...

TouchOSC LiveControl iPad - not working
Hi. I have TouchOSC on my iPad, and have followed setup instructions (to the extent I can find them). The various templates that come with TouchOSC work (meaning send and receive messages to the iPad) - EXCEPT LiveControl and LiveControl iPad. Has anyone gotten this combo to work (TouchOSC + iPAD + ...

iPad controller that can open Live Sets?
Hi. Does anyone know of an iOS or Android controller app where one can view and open/close Live Sets? I wish the Push controller could do this, but it can't. I would like to put my laptop in an inconspicuous position on stage and just control everything - including opening Sets - via a remote app. I...

Re: Assign more than one MIDI note to single effect parameter?
Let go of both at once. Is it a gradual parameter or a button in Live that you're mapping to? What shows up in the midi map mode parameter list that appears where the browser goes? Ok, I realized the problem: On my 12-Step MIDI controller, I had a the key "safety" set to Single Key, rathe...

Re: Assign more than one MIDI note to single effect parameter?
Thanks, but unfortunately this didn't work for me. C1 gets mapped, but nothing happens if C1 is held and I press C#1. If I let go of C1, C#1 gets mapped instead of C1.yur2die4 wrote: When you map, hold C1 and press the C#1 then let go of both. It should say that you have a range mapped.

Assign more than one MIDI note to single effect parameter?
Is there a way to assign two or more MIDI notes to a single parameter on a Live audio effect? For instance, I would like to send C1 to an effect parameter (with toggle minimum value of 0 and max of 4 in the MIDI Mappings panels) and D1 to to the same effect parameter (but with values from 5 to 9). T...
