Re: Advice Needed
Merry Christmas bud, It's a bit difficult to say whether you need to work on anything else knowing that a - we have no heard the type of music you are producing(maybe a small clip of your best song will help people judge whether you need anything else and b - only you can really judge whether your t...

Re: Where can I find drums/percussion for house/trance/prog?
I would seriously recommend splicing up loops and using the single hits that you get out of them, or heading to freesound.org and grabbing some of the sample their users have uploaded to there. Or grabbing a mic and recording some sounds you can make by banging things together and getting your sampl...

Re: Ambitron Granular Synth / Soundscaper
Looks really interesting. Been looking for some sort of granular synth of some sort that's pretty easy to use. Never really got into granular synthesis at all, but this might ease me into it. The interface looks relativly intuitive.

Re: Project corrupted
I went through a stage of live constantly saving out corrupted sets, but as the dude above me said... get in touch with the support guys. They are really good at un-corrupting files and sorting out your installation of live to make it work smoothly again

Re: ::: Skrillex - Breathe / Bangarang EP :::
Meh, used to have a soft spot for his music, but I'm just so damn bored of it now. Tbh the only track I liked was the original "my name is scrillex", but I find his dubstep timed tunes a bit boring. I would like to see him do something less cheesy. Every song I have heard, theres at least ...

Re: Mastering&Mixing problems.
Hey bud, welcome to the forums, I might have misunderstood you a bit, but I would usually try and get my tracks sitting in the correct stereo places when mixing the track, and not at the mastering stage. Sometimes I emphasise or reduce my stereo mix at the mastering stage, just subtle adjustments. I...

Re: Would this track work in a club setting?
Yea liked this. I think would definately work in a club setting. I would maybe work on the section at the 2.30 mark at the first break. My attention started to drift here. But as stated above, get in a club and play it yourself is the best way to answer your question. And yea the syncopated beat at ...

Re: Best stie for acapellas?
I dont really think there is a best 'stie'. Just use google to find a site that has the acapella you need. acapellas4u.co.uk is a good one, but you've already been there so get creative on finding them on the web.

Re: Artist Collaboration
Been quite a bit of interest in artist collaborations. Keeping my eye on this. Tone Deft knows what I'm talking about. Artist collaboration on a forum is pretty limited. If you came here looking for artist collaboration you will eventually find it a pain transferring files and sets if you dont live ...
