Hehe, no worries. That one's stumped me for a while before too.

Probably a stupid question, but have you got "cue out" set to your master out (or at least to a different output that you are monitoring)? And is the volume for it (with the headphone symbol next to the master fader) turned up?

Re: Monstrejumo's Deep Meaning Automatic Translation Thread
Yes, I get it. But this stuff just isn't that funny. Not trying to be a poopy pants, but I can't even force a giggle. That's rare. English->German->English in Babelfish (Babelfish seems to work better, and with less hops!) I receive it. But this material straight isn't that merrily. Not trying, to ...

Re: Monstrejumo's Deep Meaning Automatic Translation Thread
My original rant: I started using Ableton Live in the Live 5 days. I recall being totally in love with Live's innovative workflow, and the ease with which I could sketch out new song ideas. Unfortunately, even though I now own Ableton Live 8, I have not progressed past sketching out 4-bar loops and...

Re: is the new massive attack any good?
It doesn't have many singles that you'd want to put on repeat IMO, but as a whole album it works well together. I'll be seeing them live in about a month and I'm pretty pumped!
It's certainly an easier listen than 100th Window, although I did like that as well.

Do you do this TD? If so, what do you use? Subversion or something? I use svn a lot at work and for my own hobby software, and have thought about controlling my music stuff with it more than once, but never gotten around to it.Tone Deft wrote: USE REVISION CONTROL.

Re: I want a MAC
The freeware OpenOffice will be able to read them (cross platform) usually too, but I'm not sure if you can make changes or read-only. You can definitely use OpenOffice to create, edit and save files in MS Office format. Occasionally you will get some minor formatting differences, and as such it's ...

Re: Question: Rendering as Loop
Do you mean you only want to start from an intermediate point once as an intro, and then continuously loop from start to finish after that? If so, I think you'd have to manually implement that logic in the code which is responsible for playing the music.

This is the best thing ever. Now I can waste time more efficiently! Seriously thanks though, great idea. I don't mind some of the OT stuff but it's frustrating to wade through when you're searching the forums for the answer to a technical question.

Go Vikings!!! Nobody is more deserving of the championship this year than Favre! *vomits* IMO, Favre is a self-serving sycophant. I hope his team gets absolutely obliterated this week. Regarding SC, I don't have a big problem with it, although I'd prefer if it wasn't a Flash app. I guess it's an ea...

Thats what I hoped for. I am waiting for NI to respond for the final word. Just ring them IMO... I waited for ages to get a similar request solved via email, and then I just called them instead, got it sorted out within minutes. They're in Germany but they do offer support over the phone in English.

Where I come from, "movie" and "film" are synonyms. What point is he actually making there?ikeaboy wrote:Just got back from it again. As Cameron says its movies, not films that he makes and this is good stuff.
